In order to be able to spend the time we want to on writing content we will (hopefully) earn enough money to put food on the table. We want to be up front with how this works.
We are not run by a multinational company. We aren’t under external pressures to make content biased.
We wrote all our content first, some 100,000 words worth. After this we looked for links to external sites. Some of these links are called “affiliate links”. This means that when a user clicks on these links (marked with a ^) we might get paid a commission.
Understandably people might think that we would be biased towards those who pay most. We have no reason to do so. If our content appears biased, I have no doubt you, our users, will say so. This is why we are different – we don’t have obligations to anyone but our users, and we want you to be satisfied.
